Tutorial: How to make a DVD Video Disc

The HDi-250 records to its internal hard drive, then makes a DVD from the files you select.
It records to the hard disk drive (HDD), then you make a dvd from that or from several files.

How Long Does It Take to Make a DVD disc?
BCD's Dual Stream recording makes HD and SD files simultaneously.  For a 1-hour program, the SD file takes 3 minutes to make a DVD-Video disc.  The HD fileburns in about 9 minutes..

To make a DVD-Video disc, first put a blank DVD disc (+R, -R, or +RW) into the machine

Recording Setup: Press the Menu key and see the Main Menu

MainMenuArrow down to select the file format .VOB. Press Enter and see
the "+" sign, indicating that you have selected .vob files suitable for DVD.
Alternately, choose DualStream for MPEG-2/MP4 and VOB files simultaneously.
