Buttons, Panels & Enclosures
It wasn't really our prime business... after all, we build controllers, but so many clients wanted help with finding good pushbutons, panels and enclosures! We just had to help. Now we're good at that, too!
Time Code Systems
These come from our long involvement in Computer Based Training and our expertise in single-frame recording for computer animation.
BCD's TC-100 is a general purpose SMPTE Time Code Generator/Reader. It generates and reads both LTC (Longitudinal Time Code) and VITC (Vertical Interval Time Code). It permits insertion of User Data into the time code stream via its RS-232 interface and can read that data back to a computer. On-screen Time Code Overlay, too.
The SB-100 has all the TC-100 features and more! It controls RS-232 devices like Industrial VCRs and DVD machines, with time code accuaacy, whenever the device permits. Daisy-chain several SB-100s together for multi-machine control. OEM versions are available, too: The LiveLink is available in board-form without case with pin-connectors for custom mounting. The LiveLink PCI is the same time code/controller in PCI board form. Communication remains RS-232 serial, but power is from the PCI slot.
